Rosella House - National Trust Property

Rosella House (c1911) was built at the turn of the century as a hospital at the request of Mr William Burges. It is supposed that he named it Rosella as a combination of the names of his wife and daughter. After changing hands several times the hospital became part of the Geraldton District Hospital until 1967, when it became a boarding house. Today it is used as a rehabilitation hostel.
