OzHarvest - Sydney and Regional Chapter Enquiries

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue operation, started by Ronni Kahn in 2004. OzHarvest has saved thousands of tonnes of food from landfill and delivered millions of meals to those in need in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and in regional communities across the country.

Getting Involved

Each week OzHarvest rescues over 100 tonnes of quality surplus food from more than 3,000 businesses including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, hotels, retailers, airports and food outlets and delivers it direct and free of charge to 1000 charities.
There’s no better way to experience how we nourish our country than rolling up your sleeves and getting involved. Volunteers are the heart and soul of OzHarvest and help is so many ways, from assisting our drivers with food rescue, to raising awareness about food waste at public events, or working with our education and nutrition programs, the opportunities are endless.
