Sydney Basket Brigade

The Sydney Basket Brigade is a non-profit organisation formed to create a community of caring volunteers who are committed to reaching people who are often forgotten by society. Our volunteers come together to raise funds and collect donations to create baskets of food and gifts which are anonymously delivered to individuals and families in need in Sydney at Christmas.

Getting Involved

Become a Basket Buddy!
Join us in adding one extra item to your groceries shop each week! In 21 weeks, you'll have put away enough goodies to fill a basket for a family in need. Visit our Facebook page to sign up and to find out more.

Donate goods
If you or your company are able to donate bulk quantities of items for the baskets, we'd love to hear from you. Email us at and let us know what you're able to donate.

Host a food and gift drive
Host a food and gift drive in November or December at your company, in your building, or at your local community centre, club or school. Email us for more info.

Volunteer in December
Join us on our Packing Day - 15 December 2018 to help wrap, pack and deliver baskets. Registration opens November.
