Wildlife Rescue South Coast (Bay Area!)

Wildlife Rescue South Coast is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation organisation that operates from the southern Illawarra down to the Victorian Border. The main purpose is the rescue of injured wildlife, and after rehabilitation, their return to the wild. Our volunteers come from anywhere on the NSW South Coast, South of Wollongong.

Getting Involved

Wildlife Rescue welcomes people who have a love of wildlife, and who want to make a difference. Volunteers are trained in the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife. To be a wildlife rescuer in NSW you must be at least 18 tears old or supervised by an authorised adult. If hands-on care isn't your thing, we are also looking for people to help with activities such as:
• Answering the rescue "hotline"
• Rescuing and/or transporting native fauna
• Raising orphaned birds and animals
• Fund raising
• Publicity
• Training
• Administration
• Making pouches, nest boxes, or aviaries.

Whatever your skill level or interest - there's something for you, so please contact us or visit our site to find out more!
