Meadowbank Multipurpose Learning Centre

Our centre offers a reflective learning program that emerges through interests, occurrences and knowledge of children, staff, families and community. The program is written after the events and experiences have taken place rather than before. This allows us to focus on the central role of the participants involved and the relationships evolving.

Getting Involved

Relationships that are built between children, families and educators at MMLC are seen as the catalyst of our community. As we play, teach, learn and grow together we each experience the gifts of “belonging, being and becoming,” in our own unique way. We recognise, respect and respond to our difference with wonder, sensitivity and curiosity, creating a community of learning and understanding.

We believe in a holistic approach to teaching and learning where mind, spirit and body combine to construct knowledge, build friendships and embrace the world around us. Our aim is to foster the belief that learning is fun, responsive to choice and individualized to meet children’s ideas, thoughts and interests.
