Greenlight Movement Learn to Drive Program - Fairfield

The Greenlight Movement is a learn to drive mentor program supporting disadvantaged young people aged 16-24 years without access to a car or licenced driver to get the required 120 hours of driving needed to sit their driving test.

Getting Involved

The Greenlight Movement program provides an insured, fuelled and easily accessible car for volunteers to help a young person drive and get a licence. A licence improving opportunities for employment and social interaction.

The program operates by pairing a learner driver up with a Volunteer Mentor for a 2 hour lesson each week in a supplied Greenlight vehicle. The program further supports the young person with professional driving lessons and the Safer Driver Course. All of our volunteers have ongoing training and support for this fulfilling and rewarding opportunity.

Greenlight Movement is partnering with CORE Youth Services in Fairfield to provide its service to their young clients.
