Ethnic Communities Council of Newcastle & Hunter

The ECC is a non-profit benevolent organisation, initially established in 1977 as the umbrella body for ethnic communities in the Newcastle and Hunter region. We have grown and we are now also a major provider of health, wellbeing and social programs to a broad cross-section of the Hunter Region Community.

Getting Involved

Provide social support to the elderly and respite for their carers in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and rural areas including
Home visits
Transport assistance to medical appointments
Assistance with shopping, paying bills
Social outings
