Telecross Callers

Telecross is a Red Cross service which provides a brief, daily phone call to check on the wellbeing and safety of older people living in the community. Telecross volunteers in the ACT make reassuring calls to our clients and contribute to the independence of people living at home. Telecross calls are made at an agreed time each morning and if a call goes unanswered, an agreed emergency procedure

Getting Involved

Red Cross is looking for dedicated and reliable Telecross volunteers to make calls to vulnerable members of the community. Please call our client and volunteer assessment unit on 6234 7634 or email volunteernow@redcross.org.au
