Bidwill Community Garden

Established in 2001, involving partnerships between Blacktown City Council, the NSW Department of Housing, the Botanic Gardens Trust, the NSW Department of Juvenile Justice, community groups and volunteers. The Bidwill Community Garden has a number of themed garden beds of edible and non-edible plants, including a vegetable garden, a rose bed, a native patch and even a vineyard!

Getting Involved

The Garden has regular working bees during the week and on weekends. The garden is always looking for new volunteers and there are usually plenty of fresh vegetables for volunteers to take home. It's an opportunity to learn new skills, enjoy fresh produce and meet people from the local area.
