Benalla Aviation Museum

The Museum is dedicated to the memory of those who served at No. 11 Elementary Flying Training School (EFTS), RAAF Station Benalla, during World War Two. Its roles include: The display and operation, where practicable, of historic military training aircraft; and Education of visitors regarding military training aircraft and the wartime history of Benalla Airport and 11 EFTS.

Getting Involved

The Museum is run entirely by volunteers, and anyone can become involved. From guiding visitors to restoration of aircraft; there is heaps for volunteers to be involved with, of any age. Aircraft enthusiasts are particularly welcome!

The Museum's Winjeel, Moth Minor and Nanchang aircraft are flown reqularly, and sometimes lucky volunteers can come along for the ride!

Volunteers can also assist with aircraft handling and Adventure Flight operations.
