Embrace Multicultural Festival Bairnsdale & East Gippsland

We are working with many local community organisations to increase the acceptance of diversity, social inclusion and environmental sustainability via an exciting & multi-dimensional multicultural festival. The festival will be held on Saturday, 6th October 10am~4pm at The Hub precinct (old high school behind the Bairnsdale train station). The festival will have strong arts & family focus.

Getting Involved

Our large & interesting festival requires many volunteers to either help get it off the ground or just to help on the day! We need volunteers who can: write media releases, research a range of information on multicultural crafts & activities, liaise with sponsors and schools, create surveys and a whole bunch of other fun stuff! We get together once or twice a month informally over lunch to talk about our progress. Alternatively, there are many jobs which people can do at home without attending any meetings at all. Please have a chat to Lisa using the methods below. We would forward to welcoming you!
