Wildlife Queensland (Logan)

Wildlife Queensland is keen to ensure that through our actions, we can encourage everyone to gain an appreciation of wildlife and its habitat, leading to a greater understanding of the challenges and pressures it increasingly faces. We focus on, Protecting Wildlife, Influencing Choices and Engaging Communities.

Getting Involved

Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland, Logan Branch (known as Wildlife Logan) focuses on Logan City and its immediate environs. The branch campaigns for the preservation of remnant bush land, wildlife corridors and waterways.

Members of our committee monitor environmentally inappropriate development applications, submit objections in support of better conservation and wildlife habitat outcomes, and support members of the public and local action groups with advice and fundraising as issues arise. We are a diverse group including a botanist, ecologist, accountant, dentist, artists and wildlife carers. We regularly participate in community forums that discuss the environment and related issues.
