Blind Welfare Association of SA Inc

Founded in 1937 the Blind Welfare Association of SA Inc is a member based organisation and the only blindness organisation in South Australia owned and operated by blind people for blind people. Our mission statement is "To provide high standard welfare, support and accommodation services to blind and vision impaired people to promote independence, dignity and quality of life."

Getting Involved

Our organisation seeks volunteers to assist with our activities. These are home visiting, hospital visits, supported shopping, social outings, transport and reading correspondence. Our social centre operates craft days and social days wich include entertainment, games, guest speakers, movie days and friendship. We especially need drivers.
