Wildlife Assist WA

Wildlife Assist WA will rescue native animals in need, care for them, and release them back into their natural habitat. Few other conservation activities have such a direct and personal relationship with Australia's unique native animals, and every single volunteer makes a real difference.

Getting Involved

Wildlife Assist WA is looking for anyone with respect for animals and a love of wildlife. There are many different roles, but if you want to work hands-on with native animals, you will need to be at least 18 years old.
We have a range of volunteer activities to suit most people. You may wish to be involved with one, or several of these, including:
• Rescuing and / or transporting animals
• Raising orphaned birds and animals, so that they can be released
• Providing care and rehabilitation for injured animals
• Raising funds
• Education and publicity
