By Do Something
12 January 2014

Jon Dee, founder of Do Something and its Do Something Near You initiative talks about the number of young people volunteering and how the way we volunteer is changing.

Volunteering not only provides an invaluable learning experience, where a young person can develop personally as well as professionally, it can also be a great way of developing self-confidence and a great sense of worth.

Often by giving your time, and getting involved in an area that you're naturally interested in, the experience turns out to not only be a rewarding one, but a fun and enjoyable one too!
