New Idea features Pat Cash & Jon Dee

By Do Something
30 September 2013

Do Something Founders Pat Cash & Jon Dee have been featured in a fantastic double-page interview with New Idea magazine - Australia's longest running weekly magazine. These long-time mates share their enthusiasm for doing good.

"'The next campaign, which we're launching this week, is called Do Something Sporty,' Pat says. 'We've pulled together a list of Australia's sporting codes and put them on DoSomethingNearYou.com.au. By typing in their postcode, people will be able to volunteer for their local sporting clubs, or get fit by taking part in a local game.'"

"While Pat's courting support for that effort, father-of-two Jon will be overseas in the Armenian earthquake zone opening a brand new music school for which he raised funds with the members of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath."

This interview with Pat and Jon marks the first of a number of articles that Do Something and New Idea will be doing together. Do Something, New Idea and ALDI are working together to help Australia's local charities and events. You can read Jon and Pat's interview in the 30 September issue of New Idea magazine.
